getting rid of bubble messages?

Is there a way to get rid of bubble messages that pop up? i.e. "you are now connected to veriozon"
and
Is there a slide show for desktop too or just the screen saver?

No the slide show isnt in the pirated version (which im sure you are running) it wont be availible until XP is sold in stores. And yes to get rid of the pop up menus just go to help in the start menu and tyoe pop up only one thing comes up and it is how to get rid of um

THANK YOU!!!! I do not think Microsoft ever imposed a feature more annoying and more unwelcome than those stupid pop up bubble messages. For a smart company this feature is really dumb. It almost made me ache for the days of a simple text based DOS interface.
