Jennifer, (love than name : ))

MDK is right. Try to get a hold of Partition Magic, but only resize the partitions.
Don't combine them, becuase in the event that you have to format the drive to re-install software, you'll have to format over all of your docs.
As I said... resize; don't combine.

You actually can combine two or more physical drives. It's called disk (or volume) spanning and it comes built into WinXp pro but not the home edition. To learn more about it search for "spanned volumes" in windows help.

Hello
I am just guessing when you say you are running out of space that you have installed everything you have come across into the default "Program Files" in windows.
This practise can snowball into those applications creating logs and folders full of images sound files and backups until windows is so bogged down it won't run at all.
Only your most frequent use applications have an excuse to be on the partition with the operating system.
The alternative that still exists for you adn is preferable for most people is to create a folder on your "d - drive" and name it "Program Files2".
Install all your secondary applications there and it will free up a significant space on your "C" drive.
A good example might be MS office which will run just fine from a partition but one of those new space hogging games might run just a bit better from the C drive depending on the HD and the "puter setup.
DOn't forget your can just cut and paste any folders containing images or music or video from C to D as well with out partitioning at all.

Good luck

Greaner
