Getting out of safe mode

I woke up this morning and for some reason my computer was on safe mode. I turned it on and it kept beeping for like 10 seconds or so. It now tells me to "Press any key or move mouse to get out of safe mode", but i keep doing it and it wont get out! I press keys and click the mouse and move it around, but nothing works, the screen just stays black. What is going on?

While in Safe Mode, try hit Ctrl+Alt+Del keys at same time to bring up task manager then click on Shutdown tab and select Restart. i_XpUser
