Hello, I've just bought a second hand laptop with XP Pro on it. When I power it up it offers two XP Professionals to enter on. How do I get rid of one? Also, the licence sticker on the bottom is for XP Home so no doubt the XP Pro is pirated. I wouldn't mind borrowing a CD from the local store and going back to XP Home but I am afraid of losing all the drivers etc... how do you back up the existing drivers? Rather than buy an XP pro licence I was hoping to stick with the Home licence, our local computer shop will lend me a Home CD... that way I don't have to pay heaps for a new licence... hi, what makes you think your copy is pirated?operating systems get upgraded all the time.the one who originally purchased the laptop could of easily had his own copy of xp pro and installed it.i think if you run windows update it will tell you it cannot update because its not a legal copy.try running windows update see if it will allow you. keltik chalk_Tv.
