Get rid of a startup file

Hello,
I just had a virus and i got rid of it. but the problem is everytime i start up my computer i get an error message saying
"cannot find iexpIorer.exe"
tat exe file was the virus which has now been successfully deleted.
My question now is how do i get rid of tat error message from popping up everytime i start up windows.
also i have checked in msconfig for anything unusual and havnet found anything

Look in the registry.
Most likely it's listed under:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run

Delete the entry that calls up iexpIorer.exe

Start --> programs --> startup --> right click and delete if it is there.

Start --> run --> type msconfig --> click the startup tab --> deselect iexplorer if it is there.
