PC has been cleaned of virus/malware but I still get a box that pops up upon boot that states: Data Execution Prevention - Microsoft Windows - To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program. Name: Generic Host Process for Win32 Services Publisher: Microsoft Corportation Close Message (button) Data Execution Prevention hellps protect agains damage from viruses and other security threats.

This box will not go away! If I try to close it (x) or choose Close Message - another box pops up "Generic Host Process for Win32 Services - Generic Host Process for Win32 Services encountered a problem and needed to close....send error report or dont matter which one I choose the Data Execution Prevention box just pops back up.

I am aware that I can disable this function but I would really like to know what is causing it so THAT problem can be addressed.

Thanks in advance for any help.

i appreciate the "fix" but can you explain to me what it is "fixing" before i use? is it disabling the notification or is it actually removing something bad? thanks in advance.
