general protection fault wpwin61.exe at 0093:

Specs: Windows XP sp3, AMD Athlon XP2200 1.8GHz / 750 MB RAM
I am suddenly unable to initiate my Word perfect 6.1 The message "WPWIN6.1 caused a general protection fault in module WPWIN.EXE0093:2814" appears.
I have tries un. and re-installing W.Perfect, to no avail.
I have also uninstalled printers, as I understood that they might be causing the problem.
Help please . . !

I would uninstall it using Revo in Advanced mode.

If you have partially uninstalled your program, you get a message from Revo, that it can't find the uninstaller, hit Cancel & let Revo continue on, to search for the remnants.

I am a complete novice when it comes to a problem like this, but I rreceived a suggestion that even I could understand (although I had never done it before):
"TRY SYSTEM RESTORE".
I did, and it worked !
Hope someone else may find this usefull,
