First off, go Geforce when ever possible. Radeon makes "good" card; I have one, but its really best if the Geforce card is inserted and drivers are installed and your monitor is black and the little PC speaker is going "beep, beep, beep" and you konw it is set properally.
Anyway, you MUST go here to really find out what Geforce is what. Highly reccomended...you'll thank me. :-)

I have G-Force 2TI 64 Meg DDR, current score on 3D 2001 is 4100, granted it dosn't touch some of the newer G force cards but still respectable enough to comfortably run any games out there, I personally would steer clear of any g force mx cards but that is only my personal opinion.

Radeon has a better look and display but is not as fast as GeForce .If Gameing go with nvidia GeForce. I prefer the look and feel of the radeon you will get better frame rates with the nvidia
