Geforce Problem: Device cannot start?

Just installed my Hercules Geforce 2 mx card and XP detected card but says, This device cannot start (Code 10).
Anybody else had and fixed this problem?
Please help!

no, that didn't happen, but did you go to Nvidia's site and download the detonator xp drivers?

Yes tried all different drivers from hercules & nVidia but says same everytime, but mine is the 32meg Agp card.
Anybody know how to fix this problem?

I have the Same exact problem. Ive tried flashing my bios on my motherboard, ive tried many different drivers and still nothing :(

Its the Creative 3D Blaster Annihilator 2
Geforce 2 GTS 32 meg

Im going insane trying to figure this stupid thing out.

I had the same problem, after an bios update. Please check your BIOS setting. Funnily enough, Windows XP is a plug and play operating system, but is has problems assigning an IRQ to the Geforce adaptor.

The only way around that is to let the BIOS assign an IRQ to the Grapghic board. You find these settings in the PNP/PCI section of your BIOS. My settings are
PNP OS: yes
ASSIGN VGA IRQ: enabled

This solved the problem.

I get this same error message with two different geforce 4 cards. I've tried a Gainward Ti4400 and a MSI Ti4600 but get that same error "This device cannot start. (Code 10) I have been unsuccessful trying to get the card to work, even playing with the bios PNP settings. I will post my findings as I will be removing all other hardward to try and figure this out...
