my pc slows down an awful lot when this agp card is put in and used. it is fine with my windows 98 partition and not when the xp partition is in use . i have used the latest nVidia detonator drivers and there is not apparent hardware clash on the device manager menu. any help with the issue would be much appreciated.

Change your agp settings in your bios to 2x instead of 4x. This really wont slow the system down but it will help your card to function properly. Xp hates invidia cards. Its a sad fact but there are ways to cheat here and there.

what was told to me is restart os hold down f8 to start the os in safe mode then put in a search for for nvida drives by putting in NV*.* then delete every file! even in the recycle bin then restart.then goto web site and download latest file. i must warn you i didn't try it because i got pissoff and i decided to purchase a new card. lf you try this good luck.by the way i got this in a e-mail from the company i purchase the card from.
