Friends has a Gateway Anthlon 900, 128 RAM, XP
Pro. On startup, Gateway screen shows then nothing
happens. Tried going into BIOS/setup, nothing, Safe
Mode, nothing, Seems like its not even getting into
POST. Will not boot from a floppy either!I removed the HD and installed it as a slave on my
Dell to get some files. Now after removal my Dell
won't start up, saying No Operating System found.
What the heck is going on here??? My Dell had the
latest Norton AV updates.Anyone????......Anyone???....... Bueller???

Does your computer use an IDE/SCSI/RAID controller? usually pci? If so, you will get this message Operating System Not Found.
Try moving the hard drive IDE ribbon cable directly into the motherboard. If you have your XP install disk, use it to recover windows. Removing special files like ntldr may result in similar problems.
