Dear Listers, Howdy! Somehow, my computer picked up both ISTsvc *and* Bargain Buddy. Gateway can't help me but sent me here! Norton is no help. I d/l'ed Sypbot, version #1.2, and it removed 9 items. Sorry, I do not remember what there were. I then d/l'ed HijackThis, version #1.96, and it found a list of items. I do not know how to proceed. I have pasted the HijackThis list below. ISTsvc, Gain, Gator & others download themselves unto users computers and may hijack your browser's hompage. To remove right click Internet Explorer click Properties click Settings click View Objects and remove *ONLY* unknown ActiveX content. Also, you might want to take a look at your C: drive and your WINDOWS folders and scroll down and look for the above mentioned(ISTsvc, Gain, Gator & others)They might be in the form of dll files, txt or exe.
