got 4 gateways computer towers from a school that they wiped out how do I get windows xp to load up it has a 40 GB hard drive no adapters cards or video cards it has 2 512 of ram and it says it is a pentium 4 tried to mess with the bios but no luck.
You need an XP CD & then in the boot section of the bios, make sure it boots from the CD first. Put the XP CD in the drive & when you save the bios settings, it will boot from the CD.
You have a few seconds after seeing the message > Press any key, the install starts. That is the only time you press the key during the install.
Make sure when you reinstall, you delete ALL partitions & format to NTFS.

Might be pretty difficult to do anything if there is no video. You'll probably need to purchase graphic cards for these systems.
