Comment: Hello everybody: I'm aheavy gamer but i wanted to know which processes to end in the task manager,so that i don't have anything running in the background,i only disable norton when playing but wanna know what's safe to end in the task manager.. thxs

Reply: Trial and error is the best way to find this out. If you end task on one of the svchost.exe your pc will shutdown but will not harm anything. Ending task on one of the other svchost.exe will disable your sound. Just reboot to get it back.With a system like yours I doubt you'll see any difference but go here http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/servicecfg.htm and set up your services. If you set them up right you really shouldn't need to disable any of them before gaming. Sandman
