I got my past issues of driver_irql problems pretty much taken care from what I can tell. Now everything seems to be back in order like it once was except for playing games. I installed may payne (which I had played all the way thru some time ago on this system) and it loads up fine but as soon as the game starts in tutorial mode it crashes to the desktop. If I start a new game it shows the opening movie for a few seconds (sometimes longer than others) then crashes to the desktop. I have mix and matched detonator drivers and via drivers. What could be causing it? It doesnt reboot or blue screen just crashes to desktop.

Thanks in advance

I had the same problem with Max Payne only after I installed the latest drivers, did a roll-back and, now it works fine again.
