Games Causes PC to Restart

Everytime I start playing either Need for speed underground 1 or Prince of Persia 1 and as soon as it gets to the menu my computer restarts. I have a geforce 5200 128mb ddr and i have 191 mb ram these games worked fine when i had 128mb ram and a 64 mb video card. Any help would be appreciated.

Could be caused by bad RAM...download memtest86, use the file to create a bootable floppy, boot off the floppy & run the memory diagnostic program from DOS. Any errors indicate bad RAM.

If it tests good, you may have a weak power supply.

Seems like faulty memory somewhere, take out the new ram so you are left with the 128 and try that If it still reboots then take out the new Vid card, and put the new ram in and try that. Also make sure the cards are firmly in there slots Hope this helps

Are you video drivers up to date?
Also, check your event log after it crashes, it will tell you where your PC is erroring out.
