im trying to start an ftp server with serv-u 3.0. when i start it, im the only one who can access it. im connected throught a router. no one on the network or outside the network can access it. internet explorer just says no page to display. how can i make this thing work. ps> im new to this.

Don't know much about running through a router, but is your firewall turned on?
if you right click on your network connection, go to properties then to the firewall section either uncheck the box, or click on advanced and allow ftp connections.

i turned off the firewall and that didnt work eaither. i also turned the firewall back on and told it to allow ftp but it didnt work.
