ftp from unix to xp

I need a script to ftp a file (invoked by the scheduler) from Unix to xp professional. The file has day of week appended to it, example xMon xTue xWed etc ... thanks

hey-

I would recommend this goes in the nix forum, the fact that the ftp server is windows is irrelevent, all are essentially the same in terms of what commands you can use. As far as writing the cron job task you need, thats not in my area, however you will have better luck in the nix place. hth-

thanks for the suggestion Ryan, my problem I think is how to put xp into server mode to respond to an ftp request from a unix box. any idea ?
