I'm trying to setup an FTP server using "Information Services" in Xp. I've got everything set up, but in the "properties" screen of my site, I can't do jack squat! =) How do I set everything up so that different users have different passwords, and what is the best way to set up an FTP using XP. Or should I use a third party peice of SW?

Hello Barber; I've recently been reading up on the subject also, and came across this helpful site.."beginners guide to setting up FTP on Windows XP". It's a handy tutorial.
I found it quite helpful, so thought I'd pass it along to you.
My interest was trying to find out how to send large files and music. I have been told about "yousendit.com"; and found that this works fantastic for me. It allows you to send large files, up to 1 gig. That utility might be of some use to you also.
Good luck!
