Comment: I got a strange problem with my mouse (logitech ps/2 wireless). While working on my PC mouse just froze. I restarted comp but no help. Changed to new batteries/ attached mouse to usb/ another corded ps/2 mouse but its still frozen. In frustration reinstalled xp - still no help. Can see 'microsoft ps/2 mouse' in device manager and it shows functioning ok. Hope someone can help me with this fix. Thanks

Reply: You know the mouse could be straight up broken. Have you tried another mouse in the same port? If the problem continues it could be your input.

Reply: did u try a system restore? If your car is running good...don't give it a tune-up....same goes for your PC....and when in doubt...try a system restore to the point when the PC ran good...it WORKS!
