I got a strange problem with my mouse (logitech ps/2 wireless). While working on my PC mouse just froze. I restarted comp but no help. Changed to new batteries/ attached mouse to usb/ another corded ps/2 mouse but its still frozen. In frustration reinstalled xp - still no help. Can see 'microsoft ps/2 mouse' in device manager and it shows functioning ok. Hope someone can help me with this fix.

Thanks

You know the mouse could be straight up broken. Have you tried another mouse in the same port? If the problem continues it could be your input.

did u try a system restore?

If your car is running good...don't give it a tune-up....same goes for your PC....and when in doubt...try a system restore to the point when the PC ran good...it WORKS!
