March 22, 2009 at 21:14:26
Specs: Windows XP, 1GB
From last seven months ia m getting the error :

The firmware has detected CMOS battery failure occured.

I have change battery 3 to 4 times.

To avoid any contact error i have put a paper between the motherboard and its surface.

It would be helpful If anybody provides then solution.

Otherwise i was thinking to contact the PC vendor.

Thank you.

"To avoid any contact error i have put a paper between the motherboard and its surface"

The motherboard is supposed to mounted to brass "standoffs" that raise the underside of the motherboard 1/4" or more above the chassis. Here's what typical standoffs look like:

Sticking paper under the board is NOT a good idea.

Actually the paper idea was about my engineer.

Now i am thinking of calling the hardware engineer to solve the problem.

Whenever i on my UPS the CPU gets ON automatically.
