My PC freezes randomly, like after a very long
time playing or in just a matter of seconds.I don't think its the RAM, but maybe its the
graphics because it is built-in with the
motherboard.AMD Sempron™ LE-1150 MMX, 3DNow 2.0
GHz
1 gig RAM
Win XP Pro SP2

Question: Freezing, is formatting the last resort?
Answer: Not always. This issue could be caused by any of the below possibilities.
1. Software related issue.
2. Driver related issue.
3. Operating system related issue.
4. Heat related issue.
5. Hardware issue.
6. Serious issue with Windows
7. Hardware failure.i_Xp/VistaUser

1. Press CTRL-ALT-DELETE
2. Click the Resource Monitor in Task Manager
2. Click the tabs under Disk, Memory, CPU and Memory.
4. Search for any irregularities, spikes or interruptions.
Check for driver problems:In the Disk Manager you can run a scan for driver conficts. To run this scan follow the instructions below.
1. Click Start
2. Choose Run
command.
3. type " compmgmt.msc ", This will run a scan of your drivers
or
just look in the device manager for errors.
If you have problems with the hard drive, you can try to repair the hard drive by instructing the O.S. to skip over bad sectors.
