hi, My system just freezes & random, the only way to get it back to normal is by shutting it on & off. I just noticed that Ias of 2 minutes ago, I cant check hotmail or yahoo mail. It says javascript required to log in. I have norton & ewido only. I just tried to scan the pc with the panda anti virus but when I clicked on the button , nothin happened... thnx for u'r help in adv!

firestarters, sounds to me like you have a nasty that for self preservation, won't allow you to go there. Download and run A² (be sure to update prior to running) from: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4... That'll catch it if it's a Trojan (which I suspect). Hopefully, that's all you'll need, but if you still have it after that, try an AV scan. There're several good free ones around. If you're unsure which to use, find a good one called Avast (same deal, be sure to update) @: http://www.avast.com/avad1.htm There're other good ones around.
