Hey guys, got a little question for ya!
I'm running XP on a 40 Gig HD (C), I also have another 4 Gig HD (D) installed. Whenever I do a defrag or a Norton speed disk on the D drive it shows about 300 meg of free space at the beginning of the drive before any programs or files. I thought maybe defra gor norton would rectify this but after runing them both, they have no affect at all!
Any ideads anyone?

Thanks in advance

Matt

Hi Matt, just a tip.
You can check your HDDs in XP
Right click My Computer, Manage, click the plus sign on Storage if not already open, click Diskmanagement. This will show all Drives and CD-Roms such as A,C,D,E, etc, sizes, partitions, free space. Right click on an icon, properties, gives more info.
