Not enough harddisk space?

Do you know our harddisk is actually consist of duplicate layer, one for storage and one for backup in case of corrupted harddisk, experts can recover files from the backup layer.

Hence, if you had 20GB Harddisk, you are actually having 40GB space with 20GB hidden. if you had 80GB, actually you had 160GB Harddisk sapce.

There is no free lunch, it was posted I would say over a year ago here, the fact is it is NOT TRUE!!! in reality.

B4 you criticize a bigger man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, you're a mile away, and you have his shoes.

To further Sabertooth comment, all HD supplied with a brand name PC have hidden partitions. Deleting this hidden partition is like cutting up your XP Restore CD.

I would equate this sort of claim as akin to those "magical" lead pellet devices you put in your petrol or the magnets you clamp to the petrol line for supposed vast improvements in your MPG.

See here if you're interested:

If it were this cheap and simple do you think there would be a single car manufacturer who wouldn't fit as standard ?

Out of interest I purposely experimented with this quite some years ago and over 40,000 miles noticed no significant difference to MPG whatsoever and ended up virtually trashing a cylinder head which was not intended to run with lead free petrol.
