Comment:

I unplugged my printer cable and now every time I boot,I get the "found new hardware" wizard.
I still have my printer applications installed but yet it keeps giving me the hardware wizard.
Is there a way to stop this without having to actually go through the installation process?
Thanks

Hi
Try System Restore to a date before you unplugged it, if that does not work, you mat have to go through the motions of the wizard

bobhome1941,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I have system restore disabled.
Guess I should have mentioned that.

Hi
Why do you have it disabled, that is what it is for, I dont know of any other way but to use the wizard. I would start system restore and set the slider down to say 2%, it is always wise to have at least 1 restore point
