Format HD using Win XP

I installed Win Xp no problems but i want to format my HD and reinstall it again but there is no dos SO how do i do it???????????? sum1 help plzzzz

You can do it from DOS But you need the 6 setup flopy disk (Like the old NT days) You should also be able to boot from the CD ROM, you might just have to check see that your CD rom boots befor your hard drive (that in the bios) most PC are set up that way by default unles you built it.

If you still have Win XP on your system, go to control panel and create a start up disk...Once you create the start-up disk, put in your computer and turn the computer on. It should boot to your start-up disk and at the A prompt type format c: Hope this helps.
