im trying to reinstall window xp into my computer, but when i set boot as CD it loaded up... and im trying to format through the window, but when i clicked delete the partition, it doesnt let me. it doesnt allow me to format the this. is there any other way that i can format the hard drive? thank you

Can you be alitle more clear in your description pls.

When you say format through the window,, what do you mean ?? Which window ??

Why do you want to format the drive? A clean XP install should be adequate drive preparation. Re-partitioning doesn't require formatting.
