What exactly is your D drive? Is it a partition on your Primary HDD or is it another drive? Are you attempting to format within Disk Management?

Hi.. Thanks for the posting.
D drive is a partition of my HDD.The file sys is NTFS and I attempted the format from disk mgmt.
I hope that someone will find the solution.

Delete the partition, then recreate it and format.

O.k, can you pls tell me the way to delete the partition. If it is the option "delete the logical drive", from disk mngr, it does't work. I mean it is not able to click.
I'm looking forward for tour help... Pls help me..
