Forgot my password. HELP!!!!!

I totally forgot what the password to my Windows XP login. Is there any way around that. Can I change it through the administrator and if so how? If I have to how do I reload XP on my computer?

While logged into the administrator account go to the Control Panel and select "User Accounts". See if you can get the password changed there. Also select Runn on the Start menu and type "control userpasswords2" and The "User Accounts" properties will come up. See if you can get it changed in there.If you can't, create a new user account. Copy and paste everything in the user account your trying to salvage into the newly created user account. Then delete the User Account that you lost the password to and recreate it.
Do you remember you Mother's Maiden name. That might make a pretty good password.
