Hi
I have a problem with a font manager ('The Font Thing') working in a limited account.I had been able to work with it previously, by setting Windows/fonts folder permission to Full Control to Everyone or to Users (can't recall exactly).
But recently i've turned SFS on for some reason.
When i tried to return to previous state, i couldn't see installed fonts in the font manager anymore, with its message "Failed to set data for".
I tried to give Full Control to Everyone, Users, Power Users, System, Creator owner, Admins - on fonts folder (in Windows) to no avail. How come it worked previously and now it doesn't?
Thanks
(WinXP)

I don't have any definitive answer to your question but I can surmise that when you switched on SFS certain changes have registered somewhere. When you turn off SFS the changes didn't get removed. I guess reinstalling The Font Thing may be in order.
