folders opening in full screen

Is there a way to stop the folders from opening in full screen mode without setting the folder options to Open each window in the same folder?

open the folder from a non-fullscreen folder, that is, making the parent folder the desired size first.

Open a folder tick the button next to |X|,
and close it. Now your folder doesn't open full screen anymore.

Ok, let's try again....

When I have my Folders set to Open each Folder in it's own window and create a New Folder it opens in Full Screen mode...

When I have the Folders set to Open in the SAME Folder and create a New Folder it opens in the same size as the folder I created the New Folder in...

What I want is to have my Folders Open in it's own window but to have them minimized and NOT to open in full screen... Is there anyway to do that?
