So you go to TOOLS and at the bottom you have Folder Options. In here you have three tabs general/view/file types

which part does not exist?

shadowinthewater, Go to either link below and follow the instructions.

Registry Editing Has Been Disabled By Your Administrator
Step by Step Methods for Fixing Registry Editor

http://www.pchell.com/support/regis...

http://windowsxp.mvps.org/tweakuire...

After that's fixed go to the link below and scroll down to line 129 (left column) and click on or right click and use Save Target As "Restore Folder Options Under Tools". Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt.

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_...

The above fix should put Folder Options back under Tools and in the Control Panel
