I accidentally dropped a folder in a folder named "found.001" on my c drive, and i cant move it back. none of the files inside the moved folder can be opened too. the folder is write protected and i cant change that attribute(no access). How can i move the folder back out? I really need those files back.

Just to comment.
When making mistakes like that, what usually works is to immediately
click Edit in the Menu bar,
then click UNDO.

try going in safe mode to do same thing, if not under your own user name, try administator mode, so you moved a file from desktop to drive c:..? also do search/find for folder to see where it shows up...:)
