How do I get the flying windows screensaver from my win98 cd so I can use it on xp?
I did a search for flyingwindows.scr on the win98 cd and did not find it. I guess maybe it is a zipped file.

Do a Search for
*.scr
I think the file name flyingwindows is too long,
and would be shorter name than that. It may be 8 letters or less. Then when you think you have found it, right click, then click Test.

i think but im not 100% sure that the files that windows uses on windows 98 cd are compacted into a few big files so i dont think u will find the file strait off the cd. It would be best to get the screen saver file off a computer that has the screen saver on it. do u still have a computer with windows 98 on it?

(CD-Rom Letter):\win98\WIN98_46.CAB &
(CD-Rom Letter):\win98\WIN98_63.CAB
have .scr files...
ssflywin.scr is the one with little windows coming towards the front of the screen...
ss3dfo.scr is the single flying window.
both are in the WIN98_46.CAB file.
