My floppy disc reads real slow in WinXP. This was after I up-graded to XP from 98se almost a year ago. I think I posted a question like this awhile back and it was not resolved. Are there any settings I can change to speed this up? I don't see any conflicts in my hardware. I googled and also did a site search. Does anyone know how to rectify this problem? I need the floppies to function, as I use floppy discs on-stage with my data filer. The floppy was alot faster in 98se. thanks alot.... Floppy drives are cheap, replace the drive and try again. Floppys are slow any way to start with but possibly the drive is going south. No settings available I know of for a floppy drive. When all is said and done, I hope the girls can say they had fun..
