floppy drive not found

CPU/Ram: 1gig

when I boot up my computer Wright toward the end of the process I git an error that says error 5: flnding Vfloppy.SYS error 8: floppy drive not found press any key to boot active partition when I hit any key it boots up and runs just fine could this be my floppy drive going bad?

Sounds possible. Go into your bios, and turn off floppy seek or some such command, depends on you computer.

Go into MSCONFIG and remove the line with Vfloppy.SYS that should clear it.

I don't think it is part of Windows, could be something else you've installed or have now removed. Powerquest is the likely culprit.

I get the same message on star-up. I went to sysconfig, but I could not find the line that says vfloppy.sys...where do I find it?
