My primary system is a Win XP laptop, but I also use a Win95 desktop(no USB) for basic WP duties. For several years I've used floppies to transfer files between systems and carry files with me--with no problems. Recently, the XP system(portable floppy drive) has been saying the disk is unformatted, saying it must be a MAC disk, but the Win 95 system can still read it.
1. Could this be due to a recent WinXP update? 2. Are there any utilities which might allow reading other format floppies on an XP system? 3. Can anyone suggest other solutions?
