my friend's keyboard is flashing all the led's, caps lock/num lock/ scroll lock. he has same setup as me. his pc speaker beeps 1 short tone now and again. his pc is running as normal, he doesn't notice any slowdown. but the flashing led's is annoying him lol. i am stumped at this 1. any ideas? many thanks in advance

There are some easter egg programs that will do this to play with the user, boot the computer in safe mode and see if it still does it while in safe mode. If it doesnt, turn off programs that boot with windows that you don't recognise.
