So, every time I try to install Flash, I get this (for those of you with images turned off, I've included the GIF URL as well).

I really have absolutely no idea what to do now. I have uninstalled, used Adobe's uninstaller, deleted all OCX files from the Flash folder, and even run a two part Microsoft fix involving a batch file.

Any help would be appreciated!

Chebwa

I had a problem getting Flash player to install, I looked at several forums, nothing worked for me.

Because of other problems, I reinstalled windows, it works now.

Before posting try google. Backup. Use anti virus software.

Are you logged in as Administrator when you're installing? Did you search Adobe's Knowledge Base?

So after running around Flash forums and trying everything, I ended up taking matters into my own hands and I did a registry dig. I went through every single entry containing "FLASH" and deleted it. Then I reinstalled.

Now it works.

JESUS.

You must now use the flash uninstaller before you can install it.
