I am having a wierd problem with my flash player. It seems to be installed, but when going to a site that requires it, it will say it isn't and it will want me to go to the official site to download it. I have made sure that there isn't any spyware blocking it, Javascript is turned on. I have tried clearing cookies, clearing temporary files, history, and rebooting. But I still get the same problem. (I have tried reinstalling, and the official site says it is installed)

It will do this on any site that requires flash player. This seems to not happen on my Win98 system (emulated in MS Virtual PC 2004)

So this does seem to only effect my WinXP system.

Any help would be apprecieted.

You must first uninstall the flash player on your machine then reinstall.

Update:

Ok Now it works for awhile, but after about a week or so, I have to do it again. Any reason why I have to keep uninstalling it?
