I recently installed Macromedia Flash Player. Can someone tell me, what is the actual executable file that runs this program? Thanks!

G'day Dig, I believe the file is swflash.ocx [\System32\Macromed] which I recall is run from Rundll32.exe. This is what Windows installs by default.

Newer versions might plonk themselves in the Downloaded Program Files folder where Active X stuff is usually installed which may override the default version.

The.swf files always get dumped into your TIF folder from web sites when activated from your browser.

FlashToolSet 2.0 can extract images and sounds from these files once they are copied to a safer location out of the TIF.
