I couldn't decide where to put this, so I finally decided on here. I am trying to download the free trial to Flash MX 2004, but I cannot find a way to download it on the Adobe website. I google searched it and found a number of websites that had it available for download, but at each one I got only Flash MX and not Flash MX 2004.
Also, (I don't know if this is relevant or not,) at each site where I downloaded the free trial to Flash MX the download did not start automatically and I was required to click on an "external download mirror".

Using a download mirror is no big deal, it just means that they are using spare storage capacity elsewhere, often on an academic site.
I'm guessing you downloaded & tried one of the program files?, the title often doesn't relate to exactly what you're getting - they may miss off the '2004' for example.
"I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the most of us..."

When I opened the program, it looked different from the Flash MX 2004 my friend showed me that he had, and it only had ActionScript 1.0. Also, it did not let me save the file as a Flash document over 6.0. It was like this for all of the ones I tried to download. Also, why can't I get it from the adobe website?
