I have an attache USB flash drive. I have been using it for a long time and now it I can't access it on any computer. I need to get some files off of it. What should I do?

check disk management and see if it shows up there. windows xp has had a issue with assigning drive letters to flash drives. Try booting with the drive in the computer. If that fails then you might try to reassign drive letters to your optical drives or to any memory card reader( they show as drives as well) put the memory card readers all the way to the back of the alfphabet using w-x-y-z letters and then reboot and see if the drive is assigned a new drive letter. It does not hurt to leave the memory card readers drive letters at the end.
