Hi,
Recently my computer started hard locking whenever I view any kind of flash/shockwave animation. I've researched on the net but didn't find any solutions that I hadn't tried.
Basically it happens anywhere, be it Firefox/IE or a stand alone flash animation if it plays a few frames it Hard lock the OS. No BSOD or any error written to the SysLog it completely lock.
I've tried uninstalling everything related to Flash and reinstalling but it didn't work.
I have an up to date version of antivir (no virus) and Spybot / Windows Defender are coming up empty as well...
Today's subliminal thought is: 'Calm down ... it's only ones and zeros.'

Hi mattie,
I initially had v8 when I started encountering hardlock, I then uninstalled and installed v9 which didn't solve it. Reverting back to v8 didn't help :(
