hi,

my dad uses fireworks for work and i started messes with it because people told me i could edit AIM buddy icons. the buddy icons are just animated GIFS, so when i open it in fireworks there is a GIF section of layers on the right, and a Background section. the problem is that i only see 2 layers of GIF, whereas when i look at in in action in AIM there are at least 3, if not more. do u know how i can see them and edit them?
thanks in advance
ed

You want to look at frames instead of layers.

Layers are the fixed background and the different pics of the animation. Thats why your only seeing 2.

In fireworksmx you click window from the menu then frames to view all the frames.
