Firewall with Verizon DSL?

I have recently installed Verizon DSL on a pc running Windows XP. I share the connection with a Windows 2K pc through a Linksys router.
When I go to sites such as GRC and Symantec and run their security checks, I pass with flying colors. I checked the LinkSys setup and the firewall is enabled.
My question is: is this enough, or do I need to install a software firewall as well?

I would always recommend a software firewall. If you feel like spending a little bit, you might want to go with Norton's Personal Firewall. You can also try ZoneAlarms firewall. Or, I will not recommend this now but will later, use XP's built in firewall. I would not use this though. In simple terms for everyone to understand: It sucks... but when service pack 2 comes out, I would suggest givign it a try.
