I have norton firewall 2002 and it has been working great so far. but just recently i found some documents that were used on my computer and showed up on my log. is it possible for someone to hack into my pc and place document that i never accessed? and if so, how do i prevent it from happening? this is a new one on me so please explain in detail if there is an explanation. Thank you.

Just a thought: Windows XP has an "indexing" service which looks at all the files on your harddrives and puts them into a large list. This is supposed to make searching for files faster. This could also make it look like the files have been "used". But I still wouldnt rule out other causes.
