I live on campus at a state college. The college's internet connection is preventing me from logging onto some ftp sites. I was wondering if there's a way that i can work around the school to connect to these sites?

only was it to have our network admin either open the port you need connect,, ask him to port forward..
Or have him put your connection on a seperate VLAN and put you outside of the firewall.. Depending on the schools router and gateway they may be able to do this.. Now will they is another question.
