I live on campus at a state college. The college's internet connection is preventing me from logging onto some ftp sites. I was wondering if there's a way that i can work around the school to connect to these sites?

Thanks,
brds

Sorry dude. Dont think it would be possible as all this blockling is done via a router.

only was it to have our network admin either open the port you need connect,, ask him to port forward..

Or have him put your connection on a seperate VLAN and put you outside of the firewall.. Depending on the schools router and gateway they may be able to do this.. Now will they is another question.
