Limited accounts cannot start 2nd party firewalls, or burn with Nero for that matter. I can do the Run as and pick Administrator to get the firewalls up (I'm using Etrust and Sygate, until I like 1 then dump the other, both work).

Thing is I don't want some accounts to install, but want them to bring the firewall up, and burn with Nero for that matter. I figure i can administer these privilages somehow, maybe threw adding them to groups, but don't know enuff to. Tried the running under alternate credentials, whatever the does??, but nope.

Help please and thanks.

u can configure different programs for varying credentials.


do this:

right click nero/click properties/click advanced/click run with different credentials/select run as adminstrator.
